Tinplate fits the requirements for environmental friendly packing.
Currently, major materials for packaging containers are tin, aluminum, paper and plastic. These materials have different specialties. But regarding to recycle advantages, tin is superior to others.
As the global management standard ISO – 14000 is being promoted, tinplate, which is environmental friendly, recyclable, and resource saving, is going to have a wider product range and development for packing.
1. Low pollution
Tinplate can degrade and does no harm to the pollution. Tinplate will eventually degrade to its original form and back to the nature. It does no harm to the environment. At the same time, there is no need for wood cutting
2. Recyclable
Tinplate has an advantage which other materials of packing do not have. It’s attracted by magnets. Thus we can use the machines to attract the waste from the tin cans. So we can preserve 80% of the original tins. And the invention of the easy SNA makes tinplates safer, cleaner, and can reduce the amount of waste. Tin cans are great contribution to the environment.
3. Saving resources
Cutting machines, which can effectively remove more than 98% of tin can wastes have been invented for tin can recycling. On the other hand, tin can reduce the use of hot metal and thus save the cost of refining steel. Besides, in energy saving, we can save 203m3 natural gas with a ton of scrap iron used in steel refining. So tin cans recycling can reduce the harm for the environment and is a trend of packing in the future.
